Confession made by a terrorist, Hooland Kalbi when arrested during #OpsDaulat recently definitely shocked Malaysians, when he told the High Court during prosecution proceedings that he was paid by someone for his actions in Sabah.
Hooland is one of the eight Filipinos who are believed to be to terrorist members, made the statement in front of Judge P. Ravinthran. Also charged include Lin Mad Salleh, Habil Suhaili and Timhar Hadir.
Meanwhile, Atik Hussin Abu Bakar and Basad Manuel are the two individuals charged for triggering war and they are also charged as terrorists, while another two, Kadir Uyung and Lating Tiong were charged for protecting terrorist group.
Rationally, all the arrested terrorists should be charged for triggering war against Yang Di-Pertuan Agong. With that, if they are found guilty, the court has the power to impose the mandatory death penalty too all of them.
This is to warn their comrades, especially Filipinos who wants to become Sultan Sulu (even though not acknowledged) by using the same approach, seizing Sabah's sovereignty from Malaysia.
With Hooland's statement, this would definitely make 'certain people' uneasy, because the statement seem to go in line with the report published by international news agency and Philippine media prior to this.
They reported that according to the source of military intelligence and statement from Philippine top official, it is said that the armed intrusion in Lahad Datu is paid and led by a few opposition leaders in Malaysia.
The worse part is that the opposition seem to refuse to do anything during this whole ordeal.
Opposition leader, Anwar Ibrahim is even raged when asked to provide his response on the report, and he threatened that he will sue the reporter who ask such question once again.
‘You ulang, I saman’ (You repeat, I sue) was his response to put an end to the question.
He see,med nervous as he made a statement which clearly contradicts the report which was made by the international news agency and Philippine media.
Malaysian government did give a chance for negotiation to end this conflict in peace. However, terrorists' actions' in staring the attack had forced our security forces to retaliate and launch #OpsDaulat.
Authorities are also urged to investigate this matter as soon as possible so that those 'leaders' can face justice.
As a sovereign country, serious actions should be taken against both foreign and our own citizen. This is to avoid any attempts to create chaos.
